ACUPUNCTURE

Dr. Amy uses acupuncture as a gentle therapy to support health.  It can be used for a variety of concerns such as pain, sleep, stress, anxiety, digestive concerns and more. Generally quite painless, small needles are inserted along energy meridians to stimulate balance and improve function.

For fertility patients, acupuncture can regulate the menstrual cycle, thicken the uterine lining and support implantation. For those going through assisted reproductive therapies such as IUI or IVF, it has been shown to increase implantation, pregnancy and live birth rates.

For pregnancy, many common concerns such as nausea, sciatic or pelvic pain, insomnia and more ma be alleviated with a few acupuncture sessions. It is also a great option in the final weeks of pregnancy to prepare the body for labour.

Dr. Amy also offers facial rejuvenation acupuncture therapy. This is designed to protect the skin, lift and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve overall skin hydration and texture and address concerns of the head and neck such as tension or TMJ disorders.
